So...just throwing this out there....what're the chances of the devs adding a way to check where the flag is at any time? I'm referring to other than the initial mesage of "so and so placed the flag in x spot"...like maybe if you hail the dude in parenthesis under "send me to rally point" it tells you where it is, just in case you logged in after it was placed or missed the spam? Been a couple times now I've ended up somewhere I shouldn't have because I logged another toon after it was placed again.

Along these lines...

Anyway to set an option that the current flag can only be replaced by officer approval. Something like before anyone else can place a flag the person that placed the first one gets a pop stating that XXX desires to place a flag in X zone overwritting flag in X zone, do you allow this? It's a real pain when you are trying to swap out players in a raid force when your flag gets mistakenly removed by guildies doing group zones.

Moreover how about an option of where the person/officer can add time to the flag from expiring by X hour from the guild page and a flag timer showing when the current flag will expire.

There are multiple things which would be nice changes to this amenity:

2 sets of permissions, 1 to take a flag and plant it, the other to get sent to the rally point.

Show where the flag is currently planted (at the NPC in the hall when you get sent to the rally point "You are being sent to: Jarsath Waste" with a OK/Cancel option. Another view would be in planting a flag when one is already in the world. "You are replacing the flag currently placed in: JArsath Waste" with a OK/Cancel option.

Remove the Lore and Temporary catageory on the flags so you can carry more than 1 at a time.

There's a couple of existing threads on this. One of them has a dev stating they intend to add this functionality. That would be cool to make them not be LORE and even be stackable. I know they were NO TRADE because folks were going back to the Newbie isle. I personally find that hilarious but I guess they didn't want level 80 characters spoiling it for new folk.

Permissions on the flag are not a problem - we just ahve a standing guild policy that no one may use the flag bearer during raiding times. Also, we request any guildie placing a flag to ask in guild chat and vent if anyone is currently using the flag before taking and placing a flag. Have had no problems with guildies cooperating and thinking of others before themselves on this issue once we ironed out the policy.

The idea of noting where the flag is would be helpful for those ohh crap - did I go to the right place moments or if just trying to hitch a ride to a location nearby.

Flags should be labled as belonging to guild A, B, or C and attackable - about 3 million hp, 65% mit and resists so that they can be destroyed by opposing raid forces (pvp only?).

If a mechanism to label the flag is not possible would color coordinating them be possible, perhaps pansy pink for Qeynos, turncoat yellow for Exile, and a deep royal purple for Freeport? Thus we would know which flags to destroy (Qeynos flag could even have a 40% chance to proc an evac).

Flags should not be allowed to be planted within 200m of an avatar (pvp servers only)?

Another brilliant idea ignored by the devs....when are pvp servers going to get b ea st lords so we can all be the same class and balance issues go away?
