Sootfooty Quests

<p>I attained the rank of Sootfooty with the goblins but my faction is stuck at 2500. I am only being offered 3 quests. Killing ghost, drakes and colossi does not help with faction. Is there anotehr quest I am missing?</p>

<p>The only repeatable quest that gives coin AND faction is "Like Pulling Teeth" which is given by Magnurmal.</p><p>The title of "Sootfooty" is received when you have -10,000 faction with the Sootfoot Talent Society (information found online). I'm not sure how the OP got the title.../shrug.</p><p>Perhaps it is related to the number of quests completed and not the faction you have. I haven't received any of the titles yet but I am working on it. Information found online tells me that your faction has to be -10,000 to receive it, but web sites have been wrong before. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>I got 2 titles from the repeatables near temple of sol ro.... no faction only coin, but eventually got the titles.</p>

<p>I would like to know too how to get the titles since I am as low as you can go with their faction since day one and didn' t recieve any titles.</p>

<p>I THINK the titles are related to doing the repeatable quests that do not give faction....just a hunch, not a fact I can prove yet.  Just asked someone who had a "most helpful soemthing sootfoot" title and he said he did those quests ad nauseum.</p>

<p>You have to cancel the quests when they are offered to you, and they will offer up other quests instead. I only got my quest after I canceled one of my repeatable ones and picked a different one.</p><p>Pay attention to what they are saying, and just say "not interested" to their dialog... it apparently does wonders to their moral towards you lol .</p>

<p>After you get to -10 k faction your faction will continue to be reset every 20 minutes or so, so you can not go below the -10 k for very long.  The titles are given after you do enough of these quests and it does not have to be the repeatable for faction (Like pulling teeth, I believe).  It can be any of the three repeatables.  You recieve a red message across your screen when you get a new one.</p><p>The titles given that I know of for a fact:</p><p>Sootfooty</p><p>Sootfoot Helpser</p><p>Big Sootfoot Helpser</p><p>Bestest Sootfoot Helpser</p><p>I have heard of, but not seen:</p><p>Grand Sootfooty</p>

<p>Can anyone confirm the "Grand Sootfooty" title or anything past the first 4?</p><p>I have -50,000 faction (at the moment) and done more repeats than I care to admit. (Apparently the faction resets when you zone out of lavastorm, the goblins have short term memory issues.)</p>

<p>A guildmate told me he had seen 'Grand Sootfooty' on someone else.  I have not seen it still and have done a ton more of the repeatables since with no luck.</p>

Unfortunately, I did not keep an accurate count of the repeats between the awards. I believe it was about 10/25/50/75 (but please remember those numbers are approximations based on the number of runs I made doing 3 repeatable quest each time. They should give you at least an approximation of what to expect to get the titles).</p><p>Enjoy and have fun! <p>A very minor necro post, but does anyone know if it matters if you have to stay in lavastorm and not log out until you've aquired all 4 titles?</p><p>Or does the game just keep tally and gives you the titles if you just eventually do them enough times?</p><p>I enjoy earning the money, but I need a break. >_<</p>

So I dont think it matters except once you log or zone you will lose your faction below -10k (which is a moot point anyway).</p><p>I posted my approximations on the number of quests needed for the titles above somewhere in this thread.
