Total download time

<p>How long would a complete download of EQ2 take using a typical DSL connection?  I had a harddrive failure and had to start from scratch with a new hard drive so was wondering how long it would take to download the entire game content.</p>

<p>It should take about 15-20min depending on ur connection speed. and i no u have dsl and ive calculated that into the problem as i also have dsl. but i also have the disks so it took me about 5-10min. but if u have a really bad connection it will probably take u about an hour mabey more. as i said it depends on ur connection.</p>

<p>New laptop came last night. I picked it up from UPS just after 8pm and drove home. Unboxed,  added to my wireless network and found <a href="http://www.sony.com..." target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.sony.com...</a> began dload of launcher 15MB i think it said.  I came out here and found the TSR post about loading with Vista. I performed the first- turning off UAC, I think. I then ran Launcher and had another problem so performed the second TSR item in the same post.  Anyway it was finished dloading and I was in game by 11:30pm same night.  I do have cable and dont know if it is really a fair comparison to DSL.</p>

<p>Yeah, it's always been 4-6 hours for me, depending on which computer I was doing it on.</p>
