Hotfix broke eq2, download keeps Cancelling!

<p>I was on this morning when I see the dreaded Servers coming down for a brief fix.  I try to get back on after i wake up and the launchpad begins the Download and gets all the way to the End, and Cancels the Download by itself. I notice it is downloading the Everquest2.exe_delta and then begins to decompress, and it automatically cancels the download, I click the Download button again and it repeats and repeats the same thing.  You broke my eq2 soe!</p><p>And please...for god sakes, dont tell me to put it on Admin like everyone else is..</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>It sounds like a firewall is blocking the game from updating.  That can happen after a patch since the game code will change slightly and the firewall will stop recognizing it. </p><p>If you have a firewall, please open the options for that program and find the 'exception list'.  That is the list of programs that are allowed through the firewall.  Delete Everquest 2, EQ2, and Launchpad off of the list.  Once you've done that, try launching the game again.  It will prompt you to either allow or deny the connection and you'll want to select allow.  That should refresh the entry for Everquest 2 with your firewall and hopefully correct the issue.</p><p>Please let us know if the issue persists after trying the above.</p>
