Hey all,I have a question I want to ask regarding the SK and Inquisitor. I am having trouble picking one, and wanted to ask some questions to help me decide. With that said, here goes.Apparently right now SK's are for the lack of a better word...overpowered and alot of people seem to be playing them. The reason i'm looking at SK's and Inquisitors is because #1 they're evil, #2 they wear plate, and #3 getting into a group with either shouldn't be that much of an issue if and when i want to group, plus i like tanking and healing, so trying to decide between either of those is a whole different issue LOL. With my research a battle cleric AA'd Inquisitor can put out some solid dps and take a beating after a bunch of AA's, and a SK can lay the pain pretty easily if i'm correct as well as being a tank can also take a pretty good beating. My question is, if in the future SK's are slammed with a nerf stick which is what a lot of people seem to think will happen, what's the possibility of their DPS/survivability dropping lower then a Battle Spec'ed Inquis?Any insight on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

If/When SKs take a nerf. It will be on their dps and probably not their surviveability.

Overall, SKs do have a little more utility from a solo standpoint with their Feign and Evac. They also have more aoe dps, and can heal themselves quite well when fighting multiple mobs. All that being said.. I play an inquisitor myself.

Why pick either? I play both.

Thanks for the Info (especially TheSpin posting in both my topics hehe), however, I think my biggest concern is back when I first came to EQ2 SK's were absolutely horrible from what i read. They solo'd very well but were pretty much unwanted in any end-game group/raid or any type of content.

Just coming from WoW where the focus IS end-game I have a tendency to look that far down the pipeline when in essence I might never get there, but if i DO get there, I guess my biggest concern is the fact that I don't want to work and love the SK of today to get nerfed back to it's previous state and find out i hate it. Obviously being an MMO that's always a thought that lingers for all classes.

There are far more fighters wanting to raid than there are available raid spots since may raids take 2 or 3 fighters with the MT usually a guard but sometimes zerker. OT can often be another guard, zerker, PAL or SK with the last fighter spot sometimes being either a bruiser or monk. Many raids use between 5 and 8 healers so you would have less trouble trying to find a spot in a raid as a healer.

I don't recommend choosing a class that you are afraid will be nerfed but no matter which class you choose you can always betray to the other version of the class. Your inquisitor could become a templar or SK could become a PAL.
