No Play option

<p>So i recently bought Everquest 2: The Shadow Odyssey, and installed it on my computer, i logged into my old account form a year ago, and went through all the updates and what not, and when it finished updating it just said "update complete" and did not give me the play option, so i restarted the launch pad, and it scaned all the files , and downloaded diagnostics.exe and did the same thing, no play option. can someome please help me?</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Are you using any virus or firewall software on that computer that could be blocking the download?  While Vista is the most common cause, security software can cause the same issue.  You might want to try disabling that security temporarily so that the game can finish patching.</p><p>Besides that, I would also suggest deleting the 'cache' file from your Everquest 2 directory before restarting your computer and launching the patcher.</p><p>Please let us know if the issue persists after trying the above.</p>
