error at login

<p>Greetings! I am posting on behalf of my husband.  Whenever he attempts to login, he gets an error stating that the operation has timed out.  When he tries to log onto the website  he gets an error that states</p><p>Error Code: error.authentication.retrieval.fail. I am able to log onto my account on both computers just fine.  He was playing earlier today so this is a recent problem.  Any ideas?</p><p>Thanks in advance</p>

<p>My husband tried yet again and the issue seems to be resolved for us!  He was able to login.</p>

<p>Same problem here - and how many others are out there unreported? - as to report that you cannot log in - you have to log in! If you don't have another working account (in this case my son's) you can't even tell them about it!</p><p>Edit - Now there is another wierd one - I have logged in on my son's account and when I save it has MY main character as the author.</p>

<p>I am also having the exact same problem.  Although, mine says it's a server timeout.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>On Friday we had a session server issue that was causing timeout errors for some people.  At the moment they are performing maintenance on that server which will generate a similar error.  According to the information I have, we are planning to have it up again at 12pm PST.  Try logging in after that point and less us know if the issue persists.</p>
