How are zerkers in pvp?

<p>hi im new to the game and looking for a good pvp class to level. beserker seems like a fun class but the lack of zerkers ive seen leads me to believe they arent very good(ive played on nagafen). i havent seen any zerkers to give me advice so can anyone please tell me how they are doing in pvp, assuming you know how to play it and are somewhat adaquately geared. thanks for any help, im trying to decide between a zerker and a wizard but i don't really like how squishy they are, the fact that zerkers can take alot of dmg and can dish it out really draws me to the class.</p>

In a 1v1 fight I pretty much only lose to a sorcerer or healerz. or an sk cause they're stupid OP atm. As a PvP tank we're also pretty uber. We've got the tools to keep agro off the healz and can dish out some pretty good dps too.</p><p>Unfortunately you'll find that while leveling you rarely run into 1v1 fights (unless its a twink thats orange con to you) so you'll probably get rolled a lot unless your grouping.</p>

<p>Well, I play as one of Nagafen's most active-pvp Berserkers, and I tell you this - Zerker is a class of defined strengths, though it has it's weaknesses as well. You'll find that very efficient kiters may give you a bit of trouble, though any melee based class who tries to move in on you(considering you're geared, and pretty knowledgeable of the zerker class) you will destroy them hands down, besides some of the strongest crusadors these days, most any other class, of melee based combat will have to utilize Some form of kiting to beat you.</p><p>Zerker's greatest strength though, without question is to just Ravish entire parties within little more than but a few seconds with their multiple, easy to use AE-CA's that can be heavily amp'd up as well - on top of that a never ending 4-target AoE auto-attack(if mythed) which, while it isn't the Greatest feature in the game, it's still pretty awesome ability, puts a fine edge on the zerker vs group. Without question Zerker's are one of the most abrubtly destructive AoE forces in the game, dishing out 10's of thousands in mere seconds.</p><p>Not the greatest survivability though, but then again, I guess that's what being a Berserker is All about!</p><p>                                                                                           <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/908627bbe5e9f6a080977db8c365caff.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>we stand up pretty good if we got a healer though. we just dont cheat and heal ourselves to full repeatedly.....</p><p>oi and i'd like to 1v1 you sometime Axxe. You've got better gear than me but I'd like to see how I do.</p>

<p>Shiii man. I'm always up for a good spar, win or lose, Anytime, just find and Hail me, .. I'l gladly throw. But Currently I am using a partially broken mouse; it doesn't always respond to regular movement, thus making some of the easiest things in EQ2 become troublesome and irregularly uneasy.. should be getting a new one here pretty soon.. though none the less, I'm still up for a brawl anytime.</p>
