Hello, so I went in my first dungeon today, Crushbone Keep, at level 33 solo. I didn't get very far, but what I did notice is that ALL of the named mobs that should be in there were not. Do named mobs in dungeons work the same as the outside areas in that sometimes they have place holders, or are on timers? Or is it that I went in there solo and that triggered the lack of bosses / names to happen? Or perhaps because I entered the dungeon at too high of a level?

Nameds, be it in open dungeons or open areas, are not always up.

Somehave placeholders, some are on respawn timers, others a part of a 'ring-event' (you kill a mob, his spawns a group of new mobs, you kill this group to spawn 2 more groups, kill these 2 and the named pops, or similar).

There are instanced dungeons, when you enter these you will be just you or your group inside.

Inside instances nameds will generally be up right away.

Named mobs in heroic dungeons where anyone can get into (crushbone, stormhold etc) do not necessarily have the named mob up. You most likely will need to kill his placeholder to get him to spawn. This can take quite a while. Heroic instances are different and in most cases the named mobs are always up. Difference between the two is that in normal dungeons everything respawns and in instances they dont. So you will have to keep killing the placeholders for a chance of the named to spawn.
