From the loading screen, I clicked on the link to 'go to our forums to vote on spell names' (not precise wording, but the link for that vote on the loading screen) and went to the station.com, where I was immediately hit with a popup telling me that I was the 'Lucky 1000th Sony Visitor!' and could will a Free Sony Vaio AW Laptop! I have popups turned off on this computer, as I despise them, but yours not only came right through, but over the last day, I have gotten over a dozen of them, every time I fire up Internet Explorer and at random times while it's open. They've included ads for Away.com (which thought I wanted to go skiing) and Smacchat.com (some sports thing) and various other sites that I've been adding to Restricted Sites as they appear. (The sweet irony is the ones that advertise for 'RegCure' or 'VirusRemover2009' and tell me that my computer is crawling with viruses, and that if I give them my email, they'll fix it! Nortons doesn't agree with their diagnosis, btw...)

How do I find and remove the Adware / popups that Station.com has loaded on to my system? I am not interested in a Free Sony Vaio AW laptop, or any other of your advertising partners that you want to give free access to my Internet Explorer. It's getting tiresome restricting the sites, when I know that your program is just going to continue sending me popups for other sites whenever I'm online.

I would prefer that any reply to come by the email attached to this account, since it would be all kinds of ludicrous to expect me to come back to a site that has already infected my computer, to find a fix for the infection. The cure for herpes isn't getting back in bed with the person who gave it to you, after all...

On the subject of pop-ups from station.com ... I haven't gotten any, but then again, I use Firefox. That's not a solution, just pointing out that this appears to be something involving IE and station.com not just station.com by itself.

hilarious.

I've not seen this so called malware. EVER. So you come to the Everquest2 forums to complain about the Station.com page. Why would a rep for EQ2 FORUMS be able to solve your ridiculous complaints about the station page. Please go post your crazy elsewhere, we are full up already.

Its a little late but this was a good April Fools joke.
