Characters camped in Guild Hall = can't log in now

<p>Most of my characters are camped in a Commonlands T3 Guild Hall.  After today's patch, trying to log into any of those characters gives me a window with the 'disconnect' button, but it never connects.  I am able to log into other characters who are not in that GH.  Is this a problem with that particular GH (Virulence on Befallen), the server as a whole or GHs as a whole at the moment?</p>

<p>i camped out in the guild hall last night on befallen & just get stuck on the loading character screen.</p><p>just tried my lowbie toon in the crafting instance & she gets stuck too, but characters on other servers load without a problem.</p>

<p>Logging on to a character that is logged in the Guild hall does not work for me either. So logged on an alt that is camped in Steamfront Mountains, tried to zone into Klak'Anon. Client then hangs at "waiting for zone server" and kicks me back to Steamfront after roughly 4 min. So I assume that there is a bigger problem with the zone server(s).</p><p>PS. On Befallen as well.</p>

On Befallen as well. Was able to log onto my warden who was camped in his SQ guildhall but wasn't able to zone into his inn room or able to zone back into the GH after leaving it.

<p>As near as we can tell, this is indeed only on the Befallen server, and we're looking at the issue. I'll drop a note once we have a better idea of when we'll have it fixed.</p><p>Thanks for your patience.</p>

<p>This appears to be a connection issue between some of the Befallen servers.  We will be restarting them shortly to resolve the issue.</p><p>Sorry for the inconvenience!</p>

Should be happening in the next half an hour or so (we need to notify folks in the game and give them time to log off), and it may be a little slow to be opened back up, since we really want to double check that it is working before we let you all back in <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>We've had no reports of this behaviour being seen on any other servers, so if you're seeing it, and not on Befallen, please pipe up!</p>

It is extremely refreshing to see this type of interaction between SOE employees and their customer base. I wish more online gaming companies would do the same. <p>Befallen is back up and unlocked.  All instances appear to be working.  Please let us know if you're still having any issues with logging characters into guild halls or other instances.</p>
