Hi. I am a convert from EQ1. I have an 80 Chanter and an 80 Wizzie there, and mainly solo until level 62 at least. I know exactly which zone I will be in for which level ranges (AA included).

My question is this. Is there a guide, website, or can anyone tell me the best zones for solo leveling from level 1 to whatever level soloing becomes unproductive here?

Thank you very much for any advice you all may be able to provide =)

In EQ1 you were better off just grinding for exp as you're well aware -- perhaps quadding (wow you're giving my nostalgia of quadding wyverns). Anyways, in EQ2 there are much much more quests and they give much better exp than simply grinding and killing alone. Because of this -- most people these days actually solo from 1-80 and then begin grouping at 80. You might find the ocasional group on the way but it's not a regular occurence.

With that said, this page will be your friend: http://eq2.wikia.com/

Or more specifically: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Solo_Timelines

In this game, quests are usually in a series. You get to a camp / outpot / town and receive a series of quests from npc's and when you complete most of them, it unlocks the next one from that npc. The page linked above is a complete listing of these quests (called timelines).
