Alt-tabbing to and from fullscreen?

<p>Everytime i alt-tab while running in fullscreen, the game switches to windowed mode.</p><p>Is there anyway to maintain fullscreen after tabbing out of the game?</p>

<p>I could be wrong, but the alt+tab only works for "windows" which would mean eq in full screen would not be a window.</p><p>As far as i know, any game running full screen will go to window mode when you hit alt+tab. There is no other way around this, unless you are running dual screens. Best advice, run eq2 in windowed mode, but expand your eq2 window to fit your screen, then you can alt+tab your heart out.</p><p>Hope this helps</p>

<p>I know its technically possible, since "that other game" allows you to tab out and back again while remaining in fullscreen mode. Heck, they even have a special windowed mode where the window is fullscreen and considered "always on top" when active, which makes for instant alt-tabbing where you normally get a little delay when alt-tabbed from a fullscreen app to other windows.</p><p>But the question is whether its posible to set it up like this in EQ2 as well?</p>

<p>Not that I've seen, but a quick alt-enter will get ya back to full screen so at least it's not too troublesome or takes much work</p>

<p>Just Alt + Enter too go back too full screen problem solve. I keep my game in windows mode for Looking up quest and full screen for Raids and grouping <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>I am also one that plays in Windowed mode expanded to my monitor size.  I keep my taskbar showing so I can jump into my forums or searches easily enough...</p>
