I am playing EQ2 with a Fatality USB Gaming Headset. I am also running Vista 64. Will I need to install the Creative Labs Alchemy drivers to have this headset work to its fullest?

I would install the drivers mainly for the additional options. I have same headset and am using Vista 64. They sound good.

Just a FYI on the headsets.

My first set after an hour or two of gaming the sound got weird like electronic chipmunks and was very annoying. I returned them to the store for a new set. the store was out of them So I waited to get a set. During the waiting period I went to newegg.com and looked at folks feedback on the item. Apparently alot of people running Vista 64 had same issue. And there was a solution also.

Go to Creative.com and DL the new firmware and drivers from there, the discs possibly still are not updated on shipping. This takes all of 5min to do.

These headsets rock, the best ones out there under $100 imo

Agreed, I updated the firmware, and have been using this headset for about 4 months on Vista 64, w/o any problems, except one. If the usb connection gets bumped, you run the chance of the sound reverting back to your sound card, and then, you get no sound from the game.
