I've been trying to find a solution for this, but the answers on the forums are not working for me. It's been fine for the last 2 days, got my Kerra Monk to level 12, now I can't even get past the Loading UI screen or when it does let me in, it pushes me right back to character screen after I do one action, please help!

Note: This happened to me a few months back on a trial account for EQ2 which is honestly why I didn't purchase it, looking for a way to fix this, so I can actually purchase it without having any worries.

Also, this is only happening on the Antonia Bayle server, as I just tried to make a new character on there, and it's a no go :/ but I made a character just now on Crushbone, and it's working fine.

P.S: Not using Vista

You may want to delete the following files and folders:cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this, please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the default directory in: C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II2. Click on MY COMPUTER and then proceed into local disk C:3. Navigate your way to the default directory, or your chosen installation directory.4. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 5. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.

I just did this and it let me on him instead of after like 10 seconds getting booted.. it lasted 30 seconds, but I still can't get on him :/ I doubt it's my connection, seeing as on Crushbone I can run this fine, but on AB, I can't even create a new character.

I'll do the contact thing tomorrow when it's actually daylight out xD but I'm noticing, no matter the character, it REFUSES to go past the Loading UI screen once I do the trade skill little tutorial questline... on each toon... I don't know if it corrupts my UI or something, but this is the only thing that actually messes with it =/

It could be ports stuck shut. Check out this Knowledge Base Article and make sure you are forwarding all necessary ports.
