Soloing as a Defiler

<p>Find a tank friend to level up with.   Use the "Recruit a Friend" bonus and two box.   I made a defiler on a 2nd account in the thougts of solo leveling him up, but it was just too painfully slow for me.   But it's just too bloody fast with the recruit a friend bonus also,  I end up level locking to let the AA's catch up as a grind out the quests.</p><p>Anyways  for soloing as a defiler..... the short answer is DON'T! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>But if you are set on soloing, I would max spell crit, then melee crit.</p><p>Buy an AA mirror (cheap) and save a group/healing AA profile for when you need it.</p>

<p>I went max spell crit until scourge (nice pvp spell), maxxed the spell damages in the defiler tree and currently working on my pet group ward proc.</p><p>I solo just fine in pvp (close to a 5 / 1 kill / death ratio from 80% soloing) and get my stuff in pve done easily alone.</p><p>Defiler is my most favourite class of all I played so far.</p>

<p>I went for AGI for the melee crits (finished the line) and did INT as far as the spell crits.</p><p>Get some +STR and with a good 2H staff you can do good autoattack damage.  A large proportion of my damage is autoattack.  Get a weapon with a good variance to take advantage of 100% melee crits.</p>
