Hello! Ever since the last update, a couple strange things have been going on with my game.

For one, the quest icons on my map (little feathers and books) have disappeared. To bring them back, I've already trying disabling them in the UI section of the "Options" pannel and then re-enabling them. I've turned it to the old map system and back to the new one to see if that would trigger them coming back, but alas, no. My quest icons are visible on the old map format, but not in the new. I ran EQ2 Map Updater to no avail, as well as a full login file scan. None of it works, and I can't seem to bring my quest icons back.

The second odd thing is at least amusing. I'm being sexually harassed by the female NPCs. Whenever I run by a vendor with a dress on, her dress will fly up and she'll flash her underpants at me. As I pass, her dress will fall back again into place. It's funny, but I'd like it to stop happening if at all possible.

Thanks!

Please delete the following files in C:/Program Files/Sony/EQ2

cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this, please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the default directory in: C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II2. Click on MY COMPUTER and then proceed into local disk C:3. Navigate your way to the default directory, or your chosen installation directory.4. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 5. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher.

Thanks for getting back to me. I followed the instructions, deleted the files and allowed them all to repatch. Unfortunately, neither issue (no quest icons on map, vendors flashing me) has changed. What next? Thanks again!

I have been suffering this issue as well and just fixed it, assuming you are using eq2maps. I went into my eq2maps folder and used the uninstall program.

I then went and redownloaded eq2map auto updater, installed it, once the program is open go to options, click the clear cache button and then click redownload all files.

After doing this I now have my quest feathers and books back. Hope this helps some of you it was getting rather annoying.

Note: Make sure you completly unistall eq2maps, I tried doing this without completly uninstalling it and it did not resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, I'm @ work and don't have my EQ2 setup in front of me... In the EQ2Map program, there's an option somewhere to have it do a full file scan (the EQ2Map program, not the Launchpad, just to avoid confusion)... did you try that?

While EQ2maps is widely used(I use it as well), it is a 3rd party program and the designers of that program are residents of EQ2interface.com boards.

The specific subforum is located here:

http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/...isplay.php?f=34
