The "Run as Admin" being greyed out comes from not having appropriate administrative rights on your account in Vista. Most people that have a Vista box have only one log in and it is generally NOT the administrative log in. Please call the people that sold you the computer and have them walk you through logging in on the administrative account. Microsoft also has contact information and I hear that they have a slight web presence...

I cannot help you with their software. I am sorry. Anyhow the greyed out "Run as Admin" is a clear indication of a lack of rights on Vista.
