Just bought box version The Shadow Odyssey

<p>I just got back from the store and installed the box version of The Shadow Odyssey and was hoping to play. I'm stuck looking at the patcher screen that says 15hrs of patching. Is this normal to install the game then have to wait another day to play it because it has to patch? Shouldn't the Shadow Odyssey dvds installed be current enough to not need to wait days to play while it updates?</p>

<p>make sure you have all ports open for the gameand bypass the router. but yes tehre will be a download as the discs where pressed in like november, and its april and many patches later.</p>
