Immediately after trying to log into game I get this. How does one "time out" in less than a second?

I have been palying for about 3-4 weeks now and this seems to be the norm. What gives?

Same issue. Googling it reveals that it appears to be an authentication server problem that has happened a couple times over the last few years. Was timing out in a second or two.

My error has now changed to "Processing Login" for a very long time which then becomes "Network error. The server is not responding, please check your connections and try again."

Obviously it's on SOE's end, not ours, so we'll just have to wait for the fix.

I was able to log-in using Station Launcher but not the Launch Pad. Give that a try.

Getting this message now

Network Timeout

Network Error. The server is not responding, please check your connections and try again.

This error happened recently, in fact I believe it was two Fridays ago, during the Battlestar Galactica Series finale as I recall a post that intimated the techs were probably all watching the finale and hadn't yet realized the login server was messed up.

I'm now in as well, though I did use Station Launcher. And in all fairness, the Battlestar Galactica finale WAS pretty good... Happy gaming all. Thanks for the Station Launcher suggestion.
