Mynzak -- Meteor Shower?

<p>I dunno if this is a matter of luck or not, but my guild first killed Myzak twice last weekend. Tonight, obviously first attempt post GU51, we are noticing the ability "meteor shower" is one shotting people left and right. This was not an issue on our first two kills.</p><p>Was this mob changed in some way? Or has that ability always been there and we are just having bad luck/doing something different this time?</p><p>It does a knockback and 14-18k damage, resulting in a lot of insta deaths.</p><p>Edit: Upon further investigation, it seems this may have been one of those abilities getting interrupted and SoE has now made it more "reliable." I didn't see this in any patch notes, though.</p><p>So, we didn't need to joust it before since it rarely, if ever, went off. Strat ammended.</p>

<p>He's still beatable, you just can't rely on interrupts anymore with Meteor Shower.</p>

<p>It seems like it hits people randomly no matter how far away they are -- I don't think i quite get how that AE works.</p>

<p>Also, the dark vision is totally unreliable. Maybe that should have been fixed as well.  The duration on it ranges from 30 seconds (plenty of time to click it off) all the way down to literally 1 second (which, of course, insta wipes the raid). I can't imagine it is intended that this have a random duration?</p>

<p>2 people get the vision at once, what you are likely seeing with the vision is one of the people dying with it on, which triggers it instantly.  Both people are then "blamed" in red letters on your screen.</p>

<p>No, if you examine the tooltip in the detrimental window you will notice it starts with varying timers. Also, we've had it where two people got it, both of which had like 2 seconds to click and failed.</p><p>I have experienced the scenario you explained as well, but it is not always like that.</p>
