<p>Any ETA when SOE will fix this?</p><p>I can play other online games just fine so it's not my computer thats at fault.</p><p>I really like this game but it's unplayable in it's current state.</p>

<p>Maybe post some specs so we can check what could cause the issue with your hardware....I and many many others do not have this issue.</p>

<p>I have the same issue as the OP. I have been running EQ2 for years, this crashing been happening since the big patch this week. This patch was fairly buggy, with the servers being reset often and all that, so I just figured they would fix this as part of the process.</p><p>The system crashes almost immediately, I don't even get to character select. It happens randomly about 70% of the time. Sometimes it works though. If it does work, and it crashes as I exit then the next attempt to load the game always fails. <p>Hello All... I am experiencing a 'black screen' crash during play - have been offline for a long time and only recently re-signed up.</p><p>Played for about an hour before the first crash - black screen - and nothing going.  Had to reboot or wait for an hour for it to come back up.</p><p>Now it happens after only 10 mins or so.  I updated my drivers hoping that would fix it.</p><p>Now it black screens for about 3-5 seconds then comes back about 80% of the time.</p><p>The other 20% it just restarts my whole computer!!</p><p>I googled the error and found that some EQ (not EQ2) players were having the same prob. </p><p>Any advice or is this a SOE issue?</p>
