UPDATE!!!Please note that the party schedule has been changed.The parties meant for 4.6.09 have been moved to 4.7.09 and all the Monday parties (with the exception of Splitpaw on 4.27) have also been rescheduled.

How long will these parties last? Also will they be in a central place and if so where?I ask because I live in California and will still be at work when the one on The Bazaar starts at 4pm PDT. I missed the last world wide party beacuse of timing as well. I would really like to be able to take part in the celebration.

Thank you for the wonderful party. I really liike my Tome of Destiny from the trivia contest and thank you for the jar of souls also.All the alcohol , fireworks and food were good too , character was still drunk this morning lol.

Oasis did start a bit late... we had to get our party clothes on. And Perma did crash rather spectacularly!All around it was an excellent day for parties and we appreciate everyone coming out to play with us.Had a blast!

I wasn't planning a do-over for perma, because we were able to continue the party... But if we really need to, I can find somewhere to squeeze it in. I think.As for the RP servers being in character... Sure, why not!The PvP server are going to be come at your own risk, btw. I don't have a way of preventing PvP, so be aware that you can get killed. Would be great to have a do over for Perm as many of my guildies couldnt even get into or out of the zone and so many of the other didn't even try due to fearing crashing or getting stuck. "Next time" would it help this problem if the party was spread over two zones instead of one (like one for Freeport and one for Qeynos) or is it purely a server crashing issue?

Perma do-over party delayed due to login server issues. This is being worked on as we speak, but it looks like we'll have to re-reschedule Perma.So... My calendar says 5:30pm PDT on Tuesday May, 5th.If it turns out that we need to reschedule Nagafen as well (if the login servers aren't up by 5pm PDT today) we'll have you guys on wednesday May 6th, at 4:30pm PDT.Nagafen gtg in about 20 minutes!

It was canceled because it was being abused. People were attacking me to the point where I couldn't conduct the event. The verbal abuse in tells was fun too.We'll have it somewhere that PvP is disabled next time.

Of course she said she would get attacked however showing a bit of respect and acting your age instead of your shoe size would of been a lot better don't you think? Luckily the inconsiderate and idotic behavior of those on PvP will not ruin event for those on other servers that may actually want to partake in the events rather than attempt to avenge some silly vendetta that really has no premise on the event at all.

I'm pretty sure Kiara was trying to be respectful of the circumstances... that it is a PvP server... instead of arriving, being immune, and expecting you all to participate in her event while she was not participating in the environment (key - PARTICIPATING, not being harrassed). It's the same respect she did show / will show (not sure if she's been there yet) to the RP community by holding the event in-character.The lack of respect in return is what is the problem here. She was trying to do something for you all.Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should -- THAT is the common sense that you should be acknowledging.*sigh*[EDIT] While I have not played PvP on EQ2, I have played many games that were pure PvP or mostly PvP before, and have been involved in GM events that have gone like this, or have gone well. It is not impossible to enjoy an event in a PvP environment. In fact, some of them were really fun.

Frankly let us just ignore that this was on a PVP server... The fact that she was abused, ganked, ganged up on or whatever you want to call it and attacked in private tells ( which is personal by the way ) and she then decided to cancel the EVENT, is more than reasonable. When the staff host events for the playerbase to enjoy we should embrace that and build upon that, not attack them personally. I find your ((the players crying because the event was cancelled due to thier OWN actions )) attitudes and frame of minds to be sad to say the least.** edited to fix a typing error.

What happened to good manners, and the right way to send in complaints, and even, yes, common sense? Did you all really expect her to respect you more after that kind of treatment? To listen to you when deluged by Tells as she is trying to hold an event?The company is showing you more courtesy that you showed her by rescheduling, and she is showing more courage than any of you be being prepared to go to you again. How many of you have that kind of real courage, not the kind that gangs up on others and acts as a mob?You want your voices to carry weight, then act more responsibly. Bullying won't get you anywhere, but reasoned dialogue with SOE just might, even now.

The notice came in Sunday afternoon and I didn't see it until this morning.I'm afraid this will interfere with our party today /sad panda.We'll have it Wednesday (April 29th) at 11:30am PDT instead.My deepest apologies, I didn't expect there to be downtime today.

Okay all! Sorry about Venekor and Vox yesterday. All my fault for being caught up in Free Realms launching.Ven and Vox are rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, April 30th) at 4 and 5:15 pm respectively. Please don't ever have an event like this agin until the logon Servers are upgraded. Trying to zone anywhere is taking 5-10 mins making grouping almost impossible.

Antonia Bayle is quite the party server! It seems the Kerrans have done a poor job of keeping the Ratonga out of the Palace.I'll be sure to schedule another party (or two?) for AB, as we're having some rather serious trouble staying around long enough to get to the cake!

I hate to say it...But on Antonia Bayle you will need to run it in at least a half dozen zones. Probably with the help of a bunch of other gm's.I seriously doubt ANY zone can handle a full turn out of AB *celebrators*...after all - they will get the goodies, then start letting off veterans fireworks...it's a celebration after all.Any way to do a ZW disable fireworks until its over?And I apologise for all the whining, complaining, griefing and griping - I was horrified (and YES I was one of those crashed a bunch of times trying to get there so missed out - too bad!) and there was no reason for it. It was a fantastic idea and they were ungrateful.

Thank you for trying to give us an event. No need to reschedule though, as it is obvious the servers can't handle the turnout, at least on AB. Maybe if you tried at 3AM PST when few people are on, you'll have a better chance of a celebration, instead of just frustrating those who are eager to attend.

I was surprised to see that Antonica couldn't take it. It's a rather large, stable zone.But then, I'm sure the GM's weren't expecting it, either =PGood luck to next time! Perhaps more than one instance-- I'm not enirely sure what goes on, but I know I was late to my raid because of it-- and only because of the crashing, lol.

Two of us from Legacy of Luclin arrived late to the party (aound 5 pmPDT/8pm EST) and found the party was over, but luckily missed out on all the crashing. Elquinjena Silverwing was kind enough to share some fireworks with us, she is a very kind and generous Norrathian to say the least. If ther is going to be another party I do hope it will be annouced in advance well ahead of time for all on the AB server so plans can be made to attend. The last world event party was absolutely super, even with lag issues and the repeated typng of tells saying "I want to Party". We were both looking for a good time and seeing old friends and acquaintences, but it seems that most were not there, which I can assume was due to the crashing issues I have been reading about. I do think that two party locations, Antonica and Commonlands is a great idea for the AB server. As Elquinjena said, there are alot of us here on AB.
