New Path in Lavastorm is Non-exsistant. Meaning I cannot see it, I see the stars and sometimes the moon, and when I try to take the path I fall through the world. I have done a full file scan and it didn't work. Going to try deleteing lavastorm and najena files now incase that fixes it. (The new path that connects Najena's cove to the area where Najena's instances are, there are Thexian quest givers just beyond the entryway.)

srsly..what happens if you run backwards?

I had this happen in DLW recently and just ran backwards and I could still see things properly. Not saying this is a good fix or anything..just saying.

I have this same problem and have had it since Test Server (I just thought it was a bug on Test Server being a new environment).

On the outside with all the invading void beasts, the tunnel is just a hole in the mountain side (and the zone itself), and there is no tunnel at all, so when I walk through, it's "fall through the world and teleport to a safe location". I can even see the Najena NPC's and everything inside. Then from the inside perspective from the Najena halls, where the shortcut should be is just the same old solid wall, and I'm unable to run through it. However, I watch my guildmates run back and forth through there while I can't.

I've gone into the "paks" folder and deleted the 3 Lavastorm files I could find -- lavastorm.vpk, lavastorm1.vpk, and lavastorm_SG.vpk for good measure. Then I repatched and still have this issue.

I have this same problem as well. And it was the same way on Test. I had just assumed that it was something that was in limbo there but to see it live I knew something was wrong. I'm in the process of running full file scan as well. Will share my progress later.

Okay ran full scan, Nadda. Deleted everything lavastorm related in EQ dirs then ran full scan- Nadda.

This is all I can see from the void side.. Najena side is just an impassable wall like has been there.

It is like this on both of my computers.

So has anyone been able to resolve this? I think I've done everything short of a full new installation.

Just to follow up on this, deleted and redownloaded the file "exp01_ZDDS.vpk" out of the paks dir and this path appeared for me.

One of the machines is on Vista the other is on XP, I haven't attempted to re-acquire that file on the XP box yet however. I'll follow up when I do.

My guildmate is running XP and is having the same problems the others are having.

I'm running Vista 64 and have NO issues with this at all.

I was actually coming here to post about this and then I saw your posts. My guildie has completed a full file scan, deleted everything in his files pertaining to LS and let the patcher re-download those files and is still having the same issue.

I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if a fix is worked out. If my guildie finds a way to resolve this on his machine, I'll let you know!
