I started playing EQ2 when it was first released (I think November of 2004). I stopped playing in Jan 2005 to play WoW. I stopped playing WoW in Sept 2008 to play Warhammer Online. I'm now dumping WAR and want to pick up EQ2 again.

I told you all that to ask this question...

I have the original box of EQ2. Can I just reload EQ2 on my computer and all the expansions will automatically be updated? Or do I need to purchase each expansion seperately?

(thinking of rolling a Inquisitor because I was a Warrior Priest on WAR...love the 2h hammer)

You just need to buy the shadow oddessey and you will have all of the expansions.

If you install from the original disks you should be ok to play, the patcher should take care of the rest of the needed content. Just be warned this can take awhile ...

Yours may be one, so I'd suggest loading it up and seeing what you have. Maybe people in game can help you figure out which you have and which you dont.

If you're starting from scratch there's no major reason to have the TSO expansion at the beginning, and I think the free promotion gave every expansion except for TSO. If you can create a Sarnak, you have every expansion minus TSO.

TheSpin is correct. You can down load the station launcher here:

http://launcher.station.sony.com/

It doesn't matter which computer you are logging into anywhere in the world. If you log in with an account name the system will download all of the game content associated with your account. In fact some of the old installation discs are now obsolete. You might need the station launcher.

I now have 2 issues...

1) I can't find my original EQ2 box (2004).

2) I have no idea what my original login and password are.

Im not sure what the "launcher" is or does, but do I just need to download the "laucher" and all expansions with the exception of "The Shadow Odessey" will be downloaded onto my computer? OR, should I just buy the new EQ2 The Shadow Odessey box. Its ok if I need to, I just what to play the game.

Any idea how I can get my old Login and Password located? I sent a request to SONY 3 days ago via email with no response yet.

They should be able to get you back, you will need to supply some information to prove it is your account. As far as the station launcher, you can either download it from the My Account link after you sign on or search the KB for station launcher.

On email - if you still have the same email address from when the accouint was active, check your spam filter

You'd have to have multiple sources of data to verify to them who you are, and to help them find your station name. These would be things like email addresses, billing addresses, credit card numbers, game keys for your original game.

I was able to recover an account I had not used for like 5 years by calling them, verifying my billing address, old email, and old station name.
