I go to launcher just fine, type in my password, no problem. Updater works fine, then as soon as I hit PLAY, the whole screen just disappears back to desktop as if I X'd out of it or logged out to desktop. Any suggestions??

This is how my game behaves all the time. Quite normal for me. Not even anything on the task bar, but I wait a few seconds 30-45 and wala there the game is.

Is it too much to ask to get some "professional" feedback on this matter? It sucks to pay monthly dues when you can't get the game to play.
