It really depends on what class your fighting. but for the most part Offensive stance works for everyone.

Healers you're right though... didn't really even think of them.

On scouts and fighters I use full defensive, this ups my avoidance to 85% so I take very little dmg. Then since I'm not getting beat down really bad I don't need to take them down fast anyway.

Full offensive for mages and healers, save your stuns for when they start to heal or cast their heavy hitters. Use Close Mind to avoid being stunned or stifled yourself.

The only class that should give a bruiser trouble in a duo is a paladin cause of their high mit and self heals. They can eventually wear you down if given the chance. Oh alright I suppose a monk could be a challenge too if played right

Raid geared Inquisitors are impossible to kill. Mystic's and defilers with GBW destroy's us. And wizzy's with Mana Shield, Dispersion and Najena's Ring are tough as well. Not to mention OP SK's.

Defensive ALWAYS... sure probably mages and what not i could swap to offensive real fast, but they have such cruddy avoidance and mitigation i dont need to, i dont miss any attacks. My thought is... If your alive you can fight, if your dead your not doing any damage... so if you run around in Offensive and get beat up cuz you only have leather armor and crappy avoidance your gonna take more damage and lose more fights, then you end up blowing your heals at the wrong times...

As for mages manashields, either burn through them using knockout, or just do what i do on mages, dont give them a chance to cast manashields close mind + chi + knockout + lightning fists + 5 knockdown CA's = dead mage before they get a single spell off. if they happen to get it off on ya, fear + mez + well timed knockdown CA's and auto attacks will leave them with no power and no ability to cast, cuz you just wait till you see their hands waving around and toss in an knockdown... rinse and repeat for 30 seconds if you dont think you can burn through it

Healers... i usually pretend like im running away so they cant preward / heal / buff.... make them sprint and use power and then pop all my temps and mantis leap to em and destroy them before they know what hit em.

Scouts: LOLz... need i say more /pwned

if it takes you "minutes" to kill another tank, you're doing something wrong. No offense but I generally take down tanks in <15 seconds. Maybe I've been lucky.

Wizzies, there not to hard. just activate damage boosters, and pop close mind and stone deaf. With knockout, the wizzy should be able to cast anything, and if he gets of manasheild just activate your mezz. since mezz doesnt break when they have manashield up(same goes with wards), you can either A. sit there and burn, or B. run and hide for 30 seconds.

They can't damage me enough to matter and I can basically just autoattack and go afk untill they run out of power.
