Error: Operation Timed Out .... AGAIN

<p>The login servers appear to be down again. (Tuesday, March 24th) Cannot login to Character Select. Appears to be the same issue as a few days ago.</p>

<p>Consider yourself lucky then.  This time it's different somehow.  The servers (or at least mine) is suffering extreme lag at the same time.  Normally when the login server goes down you're ok if you don't zone, but today that doesn't seem to be the case.  (it takes 30 seconds for a 1 second spell to go off)</p><p>I don't think it's the login server, I think they are having internet problems at SOE altogether.</p>

<p>Yep, same problem here too.  Application time out error on trying to log in.  Log in servers are fubarred yet again.  SOE, ya all need to buy some new equipment so this doesnt keep happening. </p>

<p>*sigh*, same here. I didn't have this, didn't chance anything, but now getting the error using the Station Launcher too:"We're sorry, but your login attempt has failed: Server Timeout".</p><p>How do we address? Oh well, let me open another ticket..</p>

<p>Does it really surprise you? This game is falling apart! Character transfer is down, login servers are going down, my hair grows faster than customer service can move! I'm not surprised at all that people are leaving... Who REALLY wants to pay for a service that they aren't getting?</p>

<p>HORRID Lag on Kithicor, unable to zone without getting punted.  Can't log back in if you do.  Unable to log into EQ2players at all...</p><p>Authentication servers appear to be down.  Servers are extremely lagged for both Chat and spell casting.</p><p>Any word on when this might be resolved please?</p>

<p>I couldn't even log in to the boards here to see if it was a system-wide issue- no error, just endless spinning at the log-in screen. </p><p>When I restarted my computer (thinking the EXTREME lag might have been me), I was signed in.</p><p>AB's lag is bad enough without this extra kick in the pants.</p>

<p>It appears that ALL SOE games are unavailable once again due to login server issues.....EQ, EQ2, and SWG all get a "timed out error" when trying to log in....was experiencing massive lag before getting booted off the Guk server on EQ2 which is different from the other day when they went down....apparently SOE is not devoting enough time and resources to resolve these issues completely....with the release of many new MMO's this year this is not a development that SOE should let occur as it will frustrate players even more and cause them to look for satisfaction elsewhere....would be nice for a GM to respond to these post with a time the server issue will be resolved (none of this posting they are aware of the issue but no ETA on when they will be back up)</p>

<p><cite>Spritelady wrote:</cite></p><blockquote><p>Authentication servers appear to be down.  Servers are extremely lagged<strong> for both Chat </strong>and spell casting.</p><p>Any word on when this might be resolved please?</p></blockquote><p>Try the global chat channels, they aren't lagging.  Just guild/ooc/shout/say are lagging.  I know because the whole server seems to be commenting on how the mobs they were fighting just stopped fighting back at the same time, and it wasn't being laggy in the global chat channels.</p><p>Plus chatting is just about the only safe thing you can do right now.  (one guy said he loved it, he could run by all kinds of mobs and they wouldn't attack him - then everybody spoiled his party by mentioning whenever the server catches up he's going to have 30 angry mobs around him <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" /> ready to beat the crap out of him instantly)</p>
