<p>I still play my Necro from time to time. Do the occasional TSO shard group or go to Karnor's Castle and kill a few nameds. Everyone is infected with this stupid DPS obsession to the point where it's just ridiculous. I know it's way out of control when I'm in a group with my Coercer and a Warden sends me a /tell asking me to put Enraging Demeanor (DPS boost) buff on them instead of Coercive Healing (boosts the healing power fo a priest).</p>

<p>I still troll I just don't post much.  I like my necro very much.  I have been frustrated at the lack of desire that others have for including us in groups or raids.  So, I have leveled an Inquis and a Troub to 80 while I patiently await SOE's intelligent design team to implement the suggestions this group has given them.  Now I am working on a Zerker!  Hmmm....necro, inquisitor, troub, zerker...I guess I am a masochist <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>I still like the necromancer class, I've always played as one in other MMOs (or whatever is closest to it) but I'm currently exploring the wizard class.  Its pretty fun so far, I actually feel like I'm bringing the pain.</p>

<p>I play my Necro daily, but I also play my 80 Guardian and my 45 Paladin, I've always really enjoyed the necro class from EQ1 to now or variations of it in other MMO's.</p>

<p> I still love and play my Necro... but our usefulness is slowly falling off. even with the best gear in the game we are still just middlin' DPS and we don't bring enough utility to be truly useful on raids. just about the only reason the Necros in my guild stay in is because we are reliable and follow orders, even though 2 of us are being asked to Lvl new Toons. I'll never give up loving my Necro but SoE needs to decide where we fit in the game before we can really shine again.</p><p>Please SoE make necros special again!!!</p>

<p>I still play my necro from time to time, but it's not my favourite class and nor, for that matter, with all the constant core changes and wrong direction is EQ2 my favourite game so I tend not to play it that much at all these days.</p>

I know it's way out of control when I'm in a group with my Coercer and a Warden sends me a /tell asking me to put Enraging Demeanor (DPS boost) buff on them instead of Coercive Healing (boosts the healing power fo a priest).</p></blockquote><p>in a raid when you aren't in mt grp - it's pretty standard to put hate buff on a healer...in addition to CH.  Since neither CH ot the hate buff doesn't take a conc slot, you can certainly have both up on a healer.  As far as wardens go, they are a melee based priest class.  So if you had a melee-light group, none of what you described is unusual and has nothing to do with the demise of the necro.</p><p>The devs either don't care or just enjoy ignoring the fact there are even issues.  So my coercer is tops now, dirge distant second.</p><p>With the new and plodding way the dev team is approaching any further rebalances - don't expect any changes for quite some time.  Just glad i got the necro over 190 aa before shelving him.</p>
