Hey all,

Just came back to the game about a month ago and started leveling again.

Last night I dinged 62 with my 70th AA.

I've been told that 100 AAs by 70 should be the goal.

But then I read today that I should really be at 140 by then.

What's a good solid number of AAs to have by 70?

I have 4-4-8-6 in Stam and 4-4-6-8 in Str, 2 points from getting Steadfast.

I also have battle Cleric in the Inq tree.

Appreciate any feedback.

Get as many AA as you can get. But AFAIK you can't spend more then 100AA below 70. (If you can spend 50 in KOS & EOF and 30-40 in TSO even better)

If you PvP you want as many AA's as possible by 70. For PvE 90 to 100 is fine (but don't sweat it if you don't). What matters is your play style. Do you solo a lot? Then AA's get more important. Do you group 80%+ of the time? Then they are not so important (unless you dps much of the time). Once you get over 70 the AA's start coming much faster than levels. You will fill in the gaps pretty well by the time you hit 80 without trying too hard.

Level 32 battle cleric at the moment, got 56 AP's. but that's just how I roll.

disregard that last comment, just being silly. but I have been locking combat and quest exp religiously in order to have lots of points, because if you're going to be a solo melee priest like I am, you need those points to do what you want to do - beat on stuff, with the occasional heal.

Look me up, the name is Xott on Nektulos. I'm going to get STR endline, and then come back for the DA in the AGI line post-70. in the meantime, I will probably pick up the 5th CA conversion, and then shoot for the second row in the TSO tree, and reevaluate after that.

You could aquire more AA than 100 I believe, but you could only spend up to 100 points until you were over level 70.

Now of course the AA limit has increased to 200, but the level 70 cap of 100 is still in force (and should stay that way too)

Personally I think the whole level-locking idea just to gain max AA for PvE is pointless (if you are level locking to do content that's another matter). If you can't get ahead in the game with roughly the "designed" number of AA points for your level then that's worrying. Of course, PvP is a different matter.
