<p>EQ2 has been crashing a lot lately on me, usually when it happens the screen just freezes and I have to end the game via task manager, below is a copy of problem report from Vista. Was hoping somone had some suggestions, this only happens when playing EQ2. My wife is has never crashed like this before and she runs Vista as well. There has been a few times when eq2 crashed, that I actually ended up crashing to a blue stop error screen.</p><p><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"></span><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"></span><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"></span><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"></span><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></font></span><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></span><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></font></span><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></span><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></font></span><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Product</p></span></span></strong><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>EQ2 Client Application</p></span><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Problem</p></span></span></strong><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>Stopped responding and was closed</p></span><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Date</p></span></span></strong><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>3/22/2009 7:51 PM</p></span><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Status</p></span></span></strong><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>Report Sent</p></span><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Description</p><strong><font size="1" color="#0066cc"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></font></strong></span><strong><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></strong></span><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.</p></span><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Problem signature</p><strong><font size="1" color="#0066cc"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></font></strong></span><strong><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></strong></span><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>Problem Event Name: AppHangB1</p><p>Application Name: EverQuest2.exe</p><p>Application Version: 1.0.0.1</p><p>Application Timestamp: 49bee04d</p><p>Hang Signature: 6fe2</p><p>Hang Type: 2049</p><p>OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3</p><p>Locale ID: 1033</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 1: 37c2f453ae7a2c3b678778bb6dc25ccc</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 2: 242a</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 3: 4da3db09a0c19137fc0e94471e92f5ad</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 4: 5666</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 5: 91edafb39b58f2431776d022427f8408</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 6: 8759</p><p>Additional Hang Signature 7: 5ad579696674d8c8136f325a8a1db171</p></span><strong><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><span style="color: #0066cc; font-size: xx-small;"><p>Extra information about the problem</p><strong><font size="1" color="#0066cc"><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></font></strong></span><strong><font size="1" color="#0066cc"></font></strong></span><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><p>Bucket ID: 511290926</p></span></strong></strong></strong></p>

<p>1. would help to know the text from the blue screen, turn off auto restart to get the screen to display</p><p>2. are you running the application as administrator?</p><p>Freezing is normally an indication of a possible hardware or driver issue, the text from the BSOD will help</p>
