Robe of ancient terrors not proccing

<p>I have killed about 10 training dummies and watched items with half the chance to proc go off every dummy . The robe of ancient terrors has not procced once at all ever ... Whats up with this have I just wasted my dkp on an item that doesnt work and the devs refuse to fix ? 10 % chance to proc is significant it should be going off but never does ... Can this be fixed or not enough farming of leviathon so not many have the robe and the devs wont see to it since they dont play a wiz . would be a nice piece if it worked as it should . Anyone know about this ?</p>

<p>I have a big log with it, I can look, but I don't know the true name of the spell casted by proc.</p><p>I have no 'Ancient Word' nor 'Ancient Wisdom' in a 50K txt log. But may be mesge is different, then I have no chances to find it.</p>

<p>Well, I have no personally witnessed it, as I do not use the robe. However, a good friend of mine does and he seem to have no problem with it. Try searching your logs for the proc name if there is one. If not, I'm not really sure what to suggest.</p><p>EDIT - This is an opinion based off of my own experience, but the robe really isn't a good wizard robe when you consider some of our cast times. You'd definitely be better off with a Shiny Metallic Robe at least. Again, just my opinion.</p>

<p>Hmm, I had one so I tried...got 2 procs off 3 dummies or so.  Unless you have wear gear conflicting it, it works fine.  And there is no text indicating when it procs in logs afaik.  Hit spell, proc goes up, nothing in log indicating it.</p>

<p>Yes I have the shiny mettalic but wanted to try this one if it procced and gave 20% boost to base I can click my trak belt and get off 2 heavy hitters wanted to see the diff on the parse as compared to the Mettalic robe .</p><p>  I look at mt maintained and never see an icon come up for it I check log and see nothing mentioned of it either . I believe the problem is that it doesnt give a minimum proc rate like most other items do . Like a 5% proc item usually says 1.8 times a min if this is 10 % I'd figure at least 2.4 and with a bard in raid even 3+ .</p><p> To the person who says it works just fine could you give me a description of the icon in the maintained window to look for , dont see how I am missing it though . Or the name of the proc in your combat log .</p>

<p>It's not base</p><p>no proc in combat log.  Icon looks like...just think red rays and sun and you'll figure it out when it pops.</p>
