Just the periodic opportunistic request stated as inquiry while other big changes are being made.

Were we ever given a dev reason as to why this wasn't changed? If so have a link?

Unstacked totems are a nuisance and make broker space/carrying them a royal pain in it. Them being unstacked makes me limit my stock and carrying of them on alts and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

For GU24, they were -completely- changed (the old style only exist in NPC sold). There was a loss of max charges per combine, but not substantially so.

Totems, currently, make a maximum of 15 per combine (3 with 5 charges each). That would be a lot harder to 'translate' than the potions and poisons were. Right now you make more totem doses per combine than potion/poison doses per combine (for roughly the same number of ingredients and -less- fuel).

Frankly, I think they both should have been converted to the same system at the same time.

Just that it would require completely creating all the totems again from scratch as a new type of item. Doable, yes, but there always seem to be other things that should take precedence. It would take quite a long time to redo them all; I'd guess it would take about a week, and I can definitely think of other things that would benefit more from that time if I have a spare week.

Thanks for the reply. Now I need something else to keep bringing up...

Edit: If it's more doable, could you do them like you did armor? Started with the new teir coming then worked back as time allowed.

On the off chance a piecemeal solution is viable, I'm going to list high to low priority from my perspective on a PvE server. I'd also like to request that if the time is never found, that at least all new totems be stackable. 1.Invis/Chameleon totems--they have the longest item life span from introduction are sell in fairly high volume so ostensibly are in high usage 2. Chokodai/Wolf totems--while mounts and run buffs have high use/availability, both totems, especially SoW, move fast when brokered. 3. Highest tier power/health totems-- the proliferation of power and regen items lowers this from being number one but soloing and crafting they can still help, especially if the reactive changes go. 4. Water breathing-- momentarily useful and another item that never gets outleveled. 5. Everything else-- See invis/ see steal isn't that useful on PVE and everything else gets outleveled so fast or is otherwise of such limited use that the inconsistency can be passed quickly or is of minimal impact already

(Haven't been through Moors with one but in RoK zero use). I don't know if I would place these as top. 2. Chokodai/Wolf totems--while mounts and run buffs have high use/availability, both totems, especially SoW, move fast when brokered. These sell well, and always will, because you lose mount speed in dungeons. Before the TS earring I always kept jboots around for gray dungeon travel and speed totems. Many players don't tradeskill or maybe do on their character that doesn't adventure so much. 3.
