can i download game and use activation code i got with game

<p>i bought shadow odyssey last night came home, went to install it and my DVD drive decided it doesnt work any more. wont recognize the discs, let alone any DVD disc but will play CDs. i have downloaded codecs, im told i probably have to buy a decoder or just get a new DVD drive been working on this all night and right now i cant buy either and i would like to start playing EQ2 asap. is there a way i can download the game (without having to buy it again) and using the game activation code that came with the game. returning it isnt an option since it has been opened. i know a friend has done something simmular with another MMO and was wandering if sony has something like this. would like to start downloading since it will take a long time....</p>

<p>I believe you can got to <a href="http://everquest2.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://everquest2.com/</a> and click on "get the game" and download the full game. Just make sure you enter your activation code from the DVD's in your account settings <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>the download game option that is on the site, isnt that only for the first game though not the expansions?</p>

<p>The download you get from the site will most likely only be the base files you need to play the original game. However the launcher that comes with that download will get the rest of the files.(iirc)</p><p>So short answer, yes it will get the expansions too <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Your payment method will not be charged until after 30 days </p>
