View Full Version : Problem with friend being able to play on live servers.

Hey I have a friend that got the play the fea trial. He was only allowed to pick from 2 servers from the character select. Runnyeye and Splitpaw. Now hes paid and has a real subsribtion, but can still only pick from those 2 servers. Anyone know why he can't play on regular live servers, and how do get it so he can now? Thanks.

Sorry about spamming, but for some reason it would'nt let me send you a pm. But how long did it take your friend to download all the updates for the play the fae trial? I downloaded one for 10 hours last night and now it wants to download another one for 45 hours!!! Anyway, im not sure why your friend can only play on a few server, but in wow (when i use to play) their were 2 list of servers, one oceanic (which only had a few) and the main list of servers. Maybe your friend is looking at the oceanic servers or something?

It sounds like only the European servers are being displayed. You can correct this by changing the region through the station launcher, available here:

http://launcher.station.sony.com/

Download that file, install, and then sign in with your normal name and password. In the options menu at the top of the screen you'll want to select 'Languages' and choose the 'English' option next to an American flag. That will allow you to choose the US region. Then you can simply select Everquest 2. If it prompts you to download the game then choose the directory where you already installed the game.
