Need help with updates please! This is [Removed for Content] me off

<p>Ok, so im trying to play the game on a tiral.  I downloaded it and I used the uq2 patch thing to do the updates.  It took 12 hours for the upddate, and after that was done it started another update that said it would take 45 hours!!! [Removed for Content]?  Then I tried to patch it via the station launcher thing, and that said it would only take 10 hours, but is that the first patch again?  Im getting really [Removed for Content] off and I'm not gonna wait 45 hours just to play.  Anyways I could just skip that update or anything?</p>

Btw, when I said "uq2 patch thing" I meant "eq2 patch thing"

If Vista are you running as administrator?</p>

If Vista are you running as administrator?</p></blockquote><p>As Wingrider mentioned, this issue could be caused by Vista.  Running as administrator will fix it in most cases if that's the problem.</p><p>If running as an administrator doesn't work then we'll probably need some more information about your system.  What kind of internet connection do you have?  Do you run any kind of internet security like an antivirus or firewall?  Do you use a router for connection sharing?</p>
