ive been out of game for a couple of months. i reactivate last night and log in. i had an outdated ui so i uninstall the ui. i log in i get kicked to character select. i then delete the entie ui from the eq2 folder. i log in, i crash to toon select again. i then uninstall eq2, i am at work atm and it is pztching at home while i am away. i turned off power save options and my screen saved just incase it caused issues. when i am logged in i cant cast spells they are all faded out. i cant target anything either. any ideas if the reinstall does not help?

It sounds like your connection to the game is being blocked in one direction, probably the outgoing information. Usually this means a firewall is blocking the game. If you have any kind of firewall on the system then open the settings for that program and find the 'exception list'. Delete Everquest 2.exe, EQ2.exe, Launchpad.exe, and any related entries from that list. The next time you start the game you will be prompted to allow or deny the game. Choose allow. That should get past the issue if it is a firewall.
