After running the launcher and it scans files, I hit play and then an error comes up. It never goes into the game. I'm on the 14 day trial of both EQ2 and Vanguard, I have no problems going into Vanguard. Greetings,Most of your DXdiag file looks good. The sound card driver is more than a year old so you'll probably want to update it, but that wont usually cause this problem. Let's also make sure that a background application isn't interfering with the game. To disable background programs:1. Select the START button.2. Select RUN, then type in "msconfig" (for Vista, type msconfig in the search bar at the bottom of the Start Menu)3. Press OK4. Select the STARTUP tab.5. In the list, uncheck all boxes EXCEPT for SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY. If you use Windows XP, please note that SCANREGISTRY and SYSTEM TRAY will not be listed - just uncheck the entire list.6. Hit apply and then OK. Restart the computer and try the game again.Let us know if the problem persists.

Yes, still having the same problem. If I click play on the launcher or just click the eq2.exe file it just crashes out without going into the game. Yet I have no problems running Vanguard, or anything else.
