Why does shield type matter?

<p>I'm looking at various shields at the moment. Other sorts of shields appear to offer more protection than Bucklers. So why is there a buckler spec? If you want less protection, shouldn't the shield just be dropped? I don't understand... What's the difference between the shield types? Why would a Berserker want one shield type over another?</p>

<p>There is not a buckler spec, you can wear any type sheild for the Sta line now. Its called reversal</p>

<p>To clarify: before TSO the STA line required a Buckler, now you can use whatever shield you like, or even dual wield.</p>
