View Full Version : Some positives

First off id like to say hello since I am new to the necro board. Secondly ive been in this game since day 1 and currently have 2 lvl 80 end game toons I play. One being a bruiser and the other a brigand. That being said my favorite of the 2 is bruiser but its hard to get him in a raid so most of the time im on my brigand.

Rolled a necro cause I absolutely loved the class in EQ 1 and after playing him a bit jumped over here to the forums to see what people had to say. Id like to say first off I feel you guys on the not being wanted for groups or raids due to my main being a bruiser. No one wants them either.

The reason im here is because the necromancer is an absolute joy to play. I was actually about to quit the game until I rolled my necro. I see the problems you guys face from reading up on the issues and like I said I know how not being wanted feels. I truly hope this class gets some love from the devs. But by far this is the most fun ive had in this game in a solid year playing my necro and I look forward to playing him alot more.

Welcome to the necro class my friend. I too have fun playing my necro. I love being the dark evil master of death magic, I really do.

I despise being told my damage sucks, or no thanks we have a necro in our raid already.. I'm sure you can relate with your bruiser. I love my class but it makes me very upset that we can have broken spells and outdated or just plain worthless AA abilites.

Many fellow necros have offered many great suggestions on a fix but it just seems to fall upon deaf ears. If you like soloing with your toon that's fine with me. I personally didn't join an MMO to solo all day.

You know, I knew a guy in EQ1 named sazz but I can't remember what class he was....

in any case, you'll also find that the pet doesn't crit nearly as high as what you do because of scaling issues....

but just like you I love the class that I enjoy playing....
