I don't raid, but I do duo and small group a lot. (I box a dirge and play with my SO's Fury. We can do some of the TSO content minus the bosses. Takes a long time but it's kinda fun in a sick sort of way.)Here's my take:For small groups you need to squeeze out all the DPS you can muster. To that end I went the onslaught route. At some point I do plan on getting two of the additional Stone rings as the def and parry on those pieces is much better than anything I have seen. However, the Shield block modifiers do stack. If you have the extra shards it's probably worth getting and swapping the set pieces depending on the situation. Ditto the charms.(How the fighter revamp impacts this I have no idea. I don't have problems with aggro now. Losing the DPS after the fighter revamp though is probably going to shred my zerker and in turn my playstyle. Kinda sucks but what can you do.)

With the next update the new lavastorm raid x2 zone will come out. It drops patterns that allow you to upgarde your mirror champ armor to a "t3" set. In addition bracers drop and there is an added 7-set bonus. Even if you are just a grouper and not a raider I'm sure you could pull an x2 together to get in there from time to time to upgrade your armor further.

As for jewelry, if you've got the shards then get an onslaught set and a stone tower set and swap them out based on agro vs survivability.

Theres also a couple good charms you can get in the higher end tso zones. I believe theres a charm with hatespike II on it that drops in Nu'roga (maybe kor'sha??), and theres a power proc'ing charm (with def stats) that drops in halls of the fallen of the last named.

I hope the changes don't hit us to hard, but like anything in life I wait and see. It may improvee us (LOL). I love my Zerker and even if the changes make things harder I will play him.

True, its kinda the reason why I stopped playing my Necro.. I thinkk I could not handle the changes in necro style from eq1 to eq2.

For my Zerker I have some staying power becouse of my guild. Large member base and they do look at me as a tank so I think until I look to start raiding again, if I ever do I may switch to something else.
