Character can play but get's stuck zoning into certain zones

<p>When I zone my character to Commonlands or Nek forest I crash to character select and can't get back online.  If however I have a friend log my character in they are able to get him through the zone at which time I can log back in and play normally.  Any ideas on how I can fix those zones?  I have searched for and deleted any files in the Sony directory that contain commonlands or nektulos.  I've also done a full file scan but still same problem.</p>

<p>Greetings,The problem you're describing sounds like it could be a router issue.  Disconnect issues with only certain zone(s) usually mean that the router is blocking one of the ports used by the game.  I would advise bypassing your router and plugging your computer directly into the modem as a first step.  If you try that and it corrects your issue then you'll need to configure your router if you wish to continue using it.The following site has great information about router configuration:<a href="http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.portforward.com/english/...routerindex.htm</a>Simply select the router you are using, then select the 'skip this advertisement' button in the upper right, and finally select Everquest 2 on the following page.  You will then be presented with a walkthrough on how to forward the correct ports.  Please respond if you need any further assistance.Thanks,TSR Daniel H</p>
