map_starting_city_ru.dds update failure

<p>I have tried installing from disk as well as the installer download, uninstalling the client several times.</p><p>Each time the patcher get's to map_starting_city_ru.dds i receive the following (logged) error message:</p><p>19:15:52] Patcher: DownloadFileEx failed (2 on url=http://laeaberrpatch.everquest2.com:7010/patch/eq2/en/patch0/main/UI/Default/images/map_starting_city_ru.dds_delta_1.gz[19:15:52] Patcher: Error with partial patch, cancelling immediately. File: map_starting_city_ru.dds.</p><p>Any insight would be appreciated <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" /></p><p> EDIT: Persistance paid off, on about the 10th try, had a sucessful download.  Possibly, the server with that file was unavailable or otherwise grumpy.</p>

<p>It's certainly possible that there was a connection hiccup around the time that you were downloading.  Usually when we see this issue it is actually caused by a blocked port on the router, though.  Either way, I wouldn't worry about it unless something like this pops up again in the future.  Let us know if something like that happens.</p>
