Why cant I download the updates to play the game??

<p>Im returning to EQ2 after about a year of not playing. When I try to download the updates in the station launcher, I get to 99% then the download cancels iteself. I try restarting the download but it just re - cancels. Anyone know how I can fix this?</p>

<p>You could try setting it to check your files and see if there is an error in them. You do this from the launcher, I believe.</p>

<p>yea this is correct, if you download station launcher or use the link posted on here to do the "Re-download",  it will scan all your files and see what is needed. Mine took a while to do though as i have all expansions and adventure packs. also there will probably have been alot of updates since you've been gone.</p>

<p>Recently had similar trouble with updater cancelling. Found <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=445275" target="_blank">support thread</a> related to a couple other people haveing similar problems.</p><p>My solution:</p><p>Click to restart the download without restarting the updater, and carefully watch what file it restarts on before it returns to saying "download cancelled". Find and delete that file. I think it was eq2_keymap_france.ini.</p><p>Other solutions presented there:</p><p>Delete the eq2_keymap_us.ini</p><p>of delete all eq2_keymap files.</p><p>No idea if this is same problem, as I think all of these complains were peole just picking up regular updates not loading entire game.</p>
