Betrayal

<p>Okay recently I betrayed from Dirge to Troubador and I kept my adept III power ballad and I betrayed from evil to good, so my question is if i betray from good troubador to evil troubador will i keep my adept III's and masters? i know previous information has said all spells will be reset but due to recently that not happening with my power ballad i wanted to see if i could get a conformation of whether or whether not they reset, please if i could get a dev response or someone who has done this recently i would appreciate it</p>

<p>All the spells will reset back to app 1 other than the spells that both bards get.  Even if you stay the same class and only change your alignment.  I would have had my troub go evil a long time ago if that wasn't the case.</p>

<p>If you betray either class OR alignment all your spells and CAs get reset to App I.</p>

<p>Is Power Ballad the level 35 special spell from the Bloodlines adventure pack for Bards? I ask because when I betrayed my Guardian aaaaages back for RP reasons (yes, I'm that much of a betrayal masochist) the only spell that remained Adept III was Unyielding Will which is the Bloodlines level 35 special that Guards/Zerkers get.</p><p>If Power Ballad is this level 35 spell then I'd have to say it will still remain the only spell you will keep at Ad3.</p><p>And btw, for future reference, you are allowed to betray back to your own alignment if all you're wanting to do is switch classes. Yes, you have to still go through the whole betrayal process, but instead of factioning for the opposite alignment you just do the faction work to go back to your own city.</p>

Not sure why that wouldn't have reset when all the rest do. But I do remember when I betrayed that my lvl 35 bloodlines spell was untouched. I was only lvl 40ish then, all the rest of my abilities reset to app 1.</p>

<p>yea power ballad is a level 79 spell, that's why i was asking thought maybe its been changed. thats why i asked for a dev reply or someone that has betrayed lately, thanks for the response's i appreciate the information</p>

<p>My understanding is that it should have reset, so if it didn't count yourself lucky and don't plan on the same happening again.</p>
