Before I hit the dusty trail for a while I wanted to ask the guru's here how EQ2 would handle this puppy. When I come back after a while I maybe sporting a new beast machine with 2 quadcore processors running 3.0 gigs. Would EQ2 have a spaz attack if I am running a system like that?

The really seems like the kind of board that people would use for 3d rendering or servers running one or 2 programs almost exclusively. It should run the game very nicely, though.

Thanks for the input about this board it's appreciated. Talked to some other computer people and they say to skip the 2 quad cores and just go for a single core i7 processor and to not even try SLI cards.

That's the kind of board that's built to run program specific drivers for massive 3d rendering projects and other similar activities.
