I've noticed, that after a bit of playing, sometimes five mintues, sometimes an hour. Sometimes after zoning, and sometimes after just standing around, my character and other NPC's and PC's turn extremely blurry. As if the character resolution has been set to minimum. The environment graphics look absolutely stunning when this happens, only character models are affected, and it would seem that mobs are NOT affected by this.

Only setting my character texture resolution from High, to Minimum, then back to high seems to fix the error, and then the solution is only temporary.

I have installed the updated drivers for my card, as well as updated Windows Vista, today. I'm using DirectX 10, as well.

Below are my system specs and video card.

System - Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1 Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz Memory: 3.00 GB System type: 32-bit Operating System

Video Card - PNY NVidia GeForce 8600 GT 512MB Driver: Version 182.08_geforce_winvista_32bit

Greetings,

The blurred textures you are referring to are a known issue at the moment. There is a thread tracking the issue under the following link:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=437803

In many cases you can work around the issue by adding the following line to your EQ2.ini file:

disable_auto_low_mem_mode 1

Keep in mind that your EQ2.ini will refresh every time you start the game so the work around will only be temporary. I advise saving a copy of your EQ2.ini in another folder so you can transfer it in when starting the game.
