It would be great for a mythical weapon to have a clickie that could change it into a different weild type weapon.

For characters that can weild a 2 hander, this would be akin to changing the mythical from a 1 hander to a 2 hander and vise versa

For toons that can dual weild, you could change the main hander and split it into 2 one handers for dual weilding.. and back again.

Why? The mythical is designed for each individual class. Sure, my dirge can and does use two weapons a great deal of the time, but wouldn't that basically remove a slot I could be using for more stats on a different item?

I'm confused as to what the benefits would be.

I don't think you're suggesting, for example, that one mythical weapon could be turned into TWO mythical weapons, allowing the owner to wield a mythical in each hand.

How many, if any, mythicals are two-handed?

And if you turn it into a two-handed weapon, you'd be loosing stats, as, I believe, all two-handed weapons have stats that, for the most part, are made to make up for the loss of that second item.

Also, weapons that can change wielding types cannot be adorned.

There's just not much point to this conversion ability for one-handed weapons.

I can see the point to this for 2-handed mythicals ... assuming there are any. Are there? I'm not aware of any. There's no point, however, to turning a nice mythical into a crappy 2-hander, so even if SOE ever implemented this ability, they would have to also significantly improve 2-handed weapons to make the ability worth using.

Knight's Stance added in some nice balance for Crusaders and really makes 2H weapons obsolete for a Pally/SK.

What he said....
