Need Help With Graphics Problem

<p>Since last night when I play Eq2 parts of my screen turn pink, lines up and down the screen and I get pixilation around my mouse curser.  Sometimes my computer locks up during this and sometimes it doesnt.  It works fine until I start EQ2.  Does this sound like the video card is fixing to blow up or another problem?  Thank you all in advance <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</p>

<p>This does sounds like a hardware issue of some sort.  As a first step I would make sure that your fans are spinning and your vents are clear of dust and debris.  If you're comfortable doing so, then check the fan on the graphics card as well.</p><p>What graphics card are you using?  Are you using a laptop?  I used to get the same issue with some games when I used my old laptop that had shared video memory.</p>
