Hey all. Just rolled a Necro on Permafrost and I'm curious as to when I will be able to control my pet. I have the bat atm, being only level 11 and I can't control him at all (as far as I know). For instance, if I root a mob from a ways back and start nuking them, my pet flaps around by my head the whole time. I'd like to be able to send him to attack the mob but right now he only attacks them if they get near me. I'm guessing I either get a spell or I have to update my pet to a certain level.

thanks,

Mondy

Press Alt-P and you should have a little pet window that comes up (it might already be up). Theres a red button there with two swords that are crossed, that will make your pet attack. The other buttons will make him defend, sit, or not attack.

Theres also a whole mess of pet command line stuff like /pet ranged that makes the pet attack from a range and not go into melee combat. You'll learn those along the way tho.
